This is a NICE early '50s GIBSON L-50 in Excellent Original condition! The tailpiece has been replaced but this one is otherwise all original. Plays great and produces excellent jangly mid-tones - fun for all types of music but especially nice for blues! Looks much richer than the L-48 with the neck binding and inlay. Very nice vintage instrument with light finish checking but no cracks and no repairs - check out the nice set of original tulip tuners! The guitar has a small old strap button hole in the tip top of the headstock - common on guitars from this period. The neck is straight, frets are still full, the action is great... you just can't buy a newer guitar this nice for this kind of money! Ships in a newer TKL style hard case.
