Here is a fabulously CLEAN '66 SUPRO "J.B. Hutto" res-o-glass vintage guitar in Excellent condition! This model/body shape has been made famous by such players as blues-man J.B. Hutto and recent raconteur Jack White. This version is commonly known as the JB Hutto model and only differs from the j.White version in that it has a chubby 6-on-a-side Strat-style headstock. Same AMAZING tone! The neck is straight and the action is great; the two single coil pickups are HOT and produce amazingly fiery tones! Famously, these guitars have a tone control for the lead pickup that acts as a "boost" when rolled off - cool idea and provides a menacing lead tone! The plastic center of the original 3-way switch busted years ago, rendering it useless; so we have replaced it with a new CRL switch that should insure this guitar shreds for another 40+ years! (the original switch will be included with the sale) Actual play wear is very minimal on this one - it's been cleaned inside and out, adjusted and set-up with 11's, and is ready to play today. Incredibly COOL and collectible guitar!
