Here is a COOL and very RARE first-year '69 Fender Mustang stunning Competition Orange!! This one is all there and in excellent original condition with no modifications from factory spec. The Competition series guitars were only made for a few years and they were only produced with a matching headstock for a year or so; orange was the color least produced (behind Red and Blue), making these increasingly hard-to-find for any player/collector. This one plays and sounds GREAT set-up with 11's - the tone is surprisingly thick with that classic Fender bite and sustain! The guitar shows mostly mild play wear for 40+ year old instrument with a few nicks, dings, and scratches thrown in for free. Frets are good and fingerboard wear in minimal. A real "WOW" guitar in person and you won't want to put it down! Ships in an original hard case.
