1962 Harmony ALDEN 9908 H45 Stratotone Mars Single Pickup Tuxedo

 

The Alden 9908 was made by Harmony for Alden department stores in the early 60s. Based on the H45 Stratotone Mars, it has all of the great tone vintage Stratotones are known for! Fully hollow body for great tone! The single chrome covered single coil is hooked to a unique tone switch for a variety of tones. Big tone in a small package. Comfy neck, good frets and nice feel make this one a real winner! This example shows average wear, dings and scratches as you would expect from a nearly 50 year old instrument. Still looks great with no issues, repairs or problems. Excels at blues and makes for a killer rockabilly, jazz or garage axe! A great addition to your tone toolbox!
