1954 HARMONY Wards H44 8379 Stratotone Vintage Guitar

 

Here is a RARE and CLEAN 50s HARMONY made Stratotone H-44 guitar in Exceptionally FINE original condition!! This version was sold through the Montgomery Wards mail order catalog. They were done in Gold (not Copper) and wear a unique headstock logo so as not do directly compete with copper H44's being sold by competing catalogs. H44's are Great sounding guitars, with simple & solid construction, HUGE necks, great for blues/rock guitar, etc. A real hoot to play! This one is in better than average condition showing some finish flaking around the edges and normal wear. A very, very nice looking example. Comes with original and super rare hardshell case. You would be hard pressed to find one in nicer condition. We recently went over this one, setting it up with medium action and replacing a switch. Good frets and nice feel. A great guitar for the collector or player.
