1964 SILVERTONE Harmony Stratotone 1420 Mars 2 Pickup

 

Killer vintage tone and looks! The Silvertone 1420 was a Harmony built version of the Stratotone Mars sold in Sears catalogs. It has all of the features and cool tone that vintage Stratotones are known for. The semi hollow body delivers that trademark sound. Dual Dearmond pickups dish out retro tone. A black finish and white plastic round it out. A great guitar for blues, jazz and retro rock. This is a nice example showing average wear for its age. Normal scratches dents, and dings. It still looks nice. Set up for medium action, it has good feel. The neck is straight and the frets are good. A nice feeling and sounding vintage guitar!
