1974 Fender Jazz Bass

You can’t go wrong with a Jazz Bass. Big, funky tone. Here's a great example with the vibe that Jazz Bass players dig. The 34 inch scale maple neck features a bound rosewood fingerboard with 20 frets and pearloid block inlays. The original pickups deliver killer tone. They have recently been rewound to stock specs by Lindy Fralin for troublefree performance. Original bridge, tuners and covers. A recent tortoise pickguard gives it a cool 60s flavor. The original sunburst finish looks killer. Original neck (click on highlighted words for pics) and neck pocket stamps. No routs ever. Original late 73 coded pots and electronics. A great bass for a player with tons of tone and vibe!

This is a fine playing and sounding bass. Straight neck with good frets and nice action. The rewound pickups sound and work great with a nice, warm low end. Condition wise, this one has been played but still looks cool. Normal scratches, checking, chips, dents and dings. Very cool looking and still very presentable. Comes in original hardshell case.

I love the vibe and tone of this Bass. Perfect for any gigging player, this bass has almost everything you could ask for. Vintage looks and sound. Why buy a new Custom Shop J Bass when you can get a vintage one for the same money?
