1967 Fender Mustang
Fender’s Mustang has always been one of the coolest vintage guitars out there! Unique looks and easy playability. This 1966 model has all of the quality and top notch materials of its Stratocaster and Telecaster big brothers! The body is alder for good weight and tone. The maple neck features a rosewood fingerboard with 22 vintage frets. The famous Dynamic Tremolo offers smooth vibrato action. Plastic button F tuners and a 6 saddle bridge keep it all solid. Dual single coil pickups (very similar in design to Strat pickups) dish out sweet vintage tone. Original pots and electronics. A sweet Daphne Blue lacquer finish completes the picture. A very cool vintage Fender! This Mustang has nice feel and unique tone. The frets show light to moderate wear but it plays fine. The neck is straight and the action is very nice. The pickups work and sound great. A cool 42 year old Fender. Condition wise, this one is in average condition. It shows normal checking, dents, dings, and finish wear you would expect from a vintage guitar. There's a spot on the headstock where a sticker presumably was as well as another small shadow on the body where a sticker was presumably removed. The Fender logo is starting to flake. The high E tuner has a slight bend but still functions fine. No trem arm. All in all, a cool player in a great color. Comes in original but slightly beat hardshell case. Sixties Fenders are pretty much made of unobtainium for many players. A Strat or Tele from this era would cost about as much as a new economy car. The Mustangs are a great value as they offer similar quality along with a distinctly Fender-ish tone at a great price. Here's a great guitar for less. BUY IT NOW and own a cool Fender!
