1972 Fender Telecaster

It doesn’t get much better than an old Tele! This 1972 is a great example of the breed. No funny business, no excuses, all good! Solid ash body for killer tone. The maple neck and fingerboard looks great. Original 3 saddle string through bridge and Fender “F” tuners round out the hardware. Original single coil pickups, pots, switch and electronics. No resoldering or craziness. Just what you wanna see under the hood. Original pickguard. Original blonde finish. The finish still looks great and still has some white-ness to it. Original bridge pickup. (click on highlighted words for more pictures) Original neck pickup. Correct neck pocket markings. No routs ever. Original electronics. Original volume and tone pots. Original switch and electronics rout. September of 1972 neck date. This one hasn’t been smoked to death in the bar or had all of its parts swapped out. A really killer Tele with all the right stuff!

This Tele plays and sounds great! It has been pro refretted with replaced nut and plays great. The action is good and the neck is straight. The original pickups and electronics work fine. Killer, screaming tone. One of the string ferrules has been changed. The original blonde finish shows normal wear. Average pick, clearcoat and belt scratches as well as a few dents, dings and chips. No bigee. Comes in original hardshell case.

I love a good 70’s Tele. This one is a great example of the breed with a nice vibe and patina. Not smoked out or crazy yellow, this one looks very hip. A nice, clean vintage guitar with killer vibe and tone!
