2008 Harmony H15 Bobkat 1963 Reissue

A really cool and surprisingly accurate recreation of a classic! I have to hand it to the new Harmony company. They really did their homework. Unlike many companies that just sell you vibe, they really sweated the cosmetic details. No generic humbuckers, Strat style trems or modern sealed tuners here. This recreation really looks like the original. The only change from the original is the set neck. Many would consider that a value added upgrade from the originals. The setups on these are much nicer than the ones you're going to find on that flea market refugee that some junk picker is selling on ebay. These are nice guitars at a really affordable price.

The H15 Bobkat really captures the vibe of the original. The solid body is made of alder for good tone. The 24 inch scale maple neck features a bound rosewood fingerboard with dot inlays. Dual Harmony Gold Foil single coils deliver the looks and tones of the originals. A floating wood bridge, accurate vibrato tailpiece, and Kluson Deluxe tuners keep it rock solid. The finish is a gorgeous redburst and is complimented by white plastic and chrome hardware. Cool details include original style knobs, correct body shape, and accurate tone. A very nice tribute to the original guitars.
